i’ve realised that even after all this time,
I still live for dubstep.
i burnt 500 calories on a gym session the other day. i’d forgotten how good that kind of hard work feels. you step off feeling exhilarated and a bit weird, i have to admit i felt a bit indestructible afterwards.
i do not want to be pigeon-holed as a weak little girl. i want to look strong and fast and fit. i want to be thin, but not starving. i want to be able to run for hours, and cycle for miles.
my weight training is going well. i push myself little by little, doing low weights but plenty of reps, and it is definitely getting easier to do 20 reps in one go. just keep pushing, really.
i can’t wait until this resit is over. when i can stop spending all my time reading about the EU and wishing i was doing other things, seeing people, sorting my room out, making things, cooking things, drawing things. urgh, the EU. it controls a lot more of your life than you realise. try reading the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union and you’ll see what i mean. whilst you’re there, read the Citizen’s Directive 2004/68 and you’ll get what i mean even more.
laws on absolutely everything.
just want to be free. start next year with a clean slate, get back into my fitness work, get back to where i feel happy to my body and my fitness levels again.
might push it after my exam in time for my birthday.
i just found an Ebay shop that sells the most beautiful vintage clothing i’ve ever seen.
but it’s in the feckin US. damn our greedy customs laws!
I decided to be thrifty, and bought an American Apparel playsuit from Ebay, secondhand, for a £5er. not bad eh? one problem: it was white.

Sooo, i bought some dye for £2. I went for one that works well with mixed-fibre materials.

I went about the dying process…

Et voila!

i loove the way it’s come out - the stitching is made from a manmade fibre, so it didn’t take the dye at all, but i love the effect - a denim blue playsuit with white stitching! (the colour is nicer than in the photo btw)
yaaay success!
just gashed my middle finger up preeetty bad. i had blood running down my arm and now it’s all throbby and making me feel sick.
note to self: be more careful when picking up the detachable blades of your food processor. they can cut through your skin like butter.
i’ve started doing weights again. i think part of me is finally coming round to the fact that i am built to have big shoulders and arms. therefore, i am going to perfect them, and make them the best god damn shoulders and guns you have ever seen.
BOOM biceps in your face.
